Senior Management Team
The Senior Management Team works with the Board around business planning and setting a strategic direction. The team also has overall executive responsibility.
Current team members
|Jeff Skipp joined Ability in July 2016 as Chief Executive Officer, bringing with him 30 years’ experience of working in health, social care and housing. Jeff has a particular interest in equality and social justice, and has worked for and led organisations that are focused on developing inclusive services and opportunities for people with a disability.|
|Peter Gardiner joined Ability in January 2018 as Director of Resources and Deputy Chief Executive, having worked in the social housing sector since 2002. Prior to that, Peter held senior finance roles in the UK and Europe in the hi-tech and civil engineering industries.
He has worked both as an executive and as a non-executive director, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
|Rita Asamoah is Director of Care and Support, having joined Ability in April 2017. She has significant experience of working in adult mental health, learning disability, autism, complex needs and community services, across all sectors. Rita most recently held business development management roles at Priory Adult Care and was formerly National Talking Therapy Manager at Turning Point.
|Jackie Davis joined Ability in August 2017 as Director of Assets and Housing, with over twenty years’ experience of working in the housing sector. She began her social housing career as a Housing Association tenant representative and has worked for local authorities, housing associations and a maintenance contractor in a number of senior management and other roles. Jackie’s experience spans tenancy, property and asset management. She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.|
