We are pleased to announce that two new members of staff have joined the Ability team.
Greg Terefenko is our new Housing Services Manager, while Tim Hall takes up the role of Operations Director from 1 July.
Greg comes to us from The Guinness Partnership, where he was based in Manchester. He brings 10 years’ experience in housing management and has a strong customer service background. In his latest role as Housing Manager, Greg was responsible for 5,000 properties and a team of 10 housing and community investment staff.
Greg now manages all our housing officers and is responsible for our estates. He said: “I’m passionate about increasing customer satisfaction and I’m going to be working with our housing officers and customers to improve satisfaction with our repairs, lettings and estates.”
Tim Hall has worked in housing for the past 25 years – and has experience of a wide range of housing types and customers. At Hanover Housing Association, he was Assistant Director (Retirement Housing) and he has previously worked for Hastoe Housing Association and the Home Group. Tim is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
As Operations Director, Tim will be responsible for all our frontline services, including housing, care & support, repairs and stock management.
He said: “I like to be as close to customers as I can be – so I was particularly attracted to Ability’s approach to working with customers and the way it focuses on ability not disability. This was a big draw for me.
“I can see that Ability is a good organisation and I will be able to build on its success.”
We are happy to welcome Greg and Tim to the team.
