Ability is “One to Watch”
18/03/2010
Ability has achieved One to Watch status in the 2010 Best Companies survey in our first year of taking part. The survey measures the level of employee engagement by analysing results to questions based around eight key factors.
Richard Strudwick, Ability Corporate Services Director said: “This is a very pleasing result for Ability and a clear demonstration that we are on the right track towards achieving one of our key goals which is to ‘optimise the contribution of our workforce by developing great leaders at all levels, rewarding achievement and being recognised as a first choice employer’.”
The Best Companies survey is carried out once a year and is open to any company. This year 1086 organisations took part resulting in responses from over 257,513 employees. The survey analyses 70 responses across eight factors including Leadership, My Manager, My Team and Personal Growth. Jonathan Austin, CEO and founder, Best Companies explained: ’Best Companies established the accreditation award scheme to acknowledge excellence in the workplace. Based on staff feedback, it looks at employee engagement as an integral part of a company’s success and growth, and sets a benchmark for other employers’.
