Direct Debit – the easy way to pay your rent
1/02/2010
Why not pay your rent by direct debit? Paying by direct debit is very easy and can take the hassle out of making your rent payments to Ability.
If you have to pay any part of your total rent charge you might like to consider switching to direct debit.
Direct debit payments can be set up for the whole of your rent or part of the rent that you are responsible for paying.
It’s a convenient way to pay your rent and can help you manage your money.
Once the direct debit is set up payments are made automatically every week or month from your account and you don’t need to do anything else. If there are any changes in rent charges your payment is adjusted automatically.
Rose Russell in our Accounts Department can help you set up your direct debit payments. The best way to do this is by calling Rose - her telephone number is 01784 495622. Just call Rose with your bank account details and she will set up the direct debit for you right away. If you prefer to fill in the form yourself you can download it here. When you have completed the form you should return it to Rose (to the address shown on the form) and she will set up the direct debit.
Once the direct debit has been set up you will receive a letter confirming the details of your account, amount of the payment and how often it is made. If there are any changes to the rent payment we will also send you a letter about this.
If you have any questions about direct debit or want to discuss it in a bit more detail then give Rose a call on 01784 495622
