First Choice for St Albans

Ability has been selected by St Albans City & District Council as its preferred provider to provide specialist housing for people with physical or sensory impairments.

Several specialist housing associations were invited to submit a presentation to the council and Ability was selected.

Ability Chief Executive, David Williams said "We are delighted to have been selected. St Albans has identified a need for specialist housing for disabled people and our track record of delivery and effective partnership working, coupled with our specialist expertise, persuaded the selection panel to select Ability.

"We look forward to working in partnership with St Albans City and District and with Hertfordshire County Council to meet the housing needs that have been identified and we are already assessing some potential sites for development."
