New services in Hampshire
Published: 31 Mar 2015
Ability Care & Support began providing services to a new group of adults with learning difficulties on 30 March 2015 – after successfully winning the contract last autumn.
Under the contract, we provide 800 hours of care and support every week to customers in Waterlooville.
We were able to tender for the work because we are recognised service providers in Hampshire.
The transfer of service went through pretty smoothly, thanks to the hard work of Ability colleagues.
David Fox, Assistant Director of Ability Care & Support, said: “I visited the services on the first couple of days after the transfer and it was an absolute pleasure to meet so many happy new colleagues and customers.
“It was very obvious that many of the new staff I met were already on board with our AbilityPOSITIVE+ values and behaviours, which will help us with the challenges ahead.”
